>Um... you know what? Breakfast does sound nice right about now. That Mochi is fresh, yeah? (3 votes)
<span class="mu-i">"Of course. The Rabbits make it for certain festivals... but honestly speaking, they make it just whenever they feel like having a good snack. This way."</span>
With that, you tried your best to ignore the explosive sounds coming from the other side of Eientei. You already witnessed what that girl in the red pants can do... you didn't feel like you wanted to get up close and personal with it either. You merely gulped and looked back, grabbing your wallet and stuffing it into the belt keeping your yukata closed before following Reisen down the halls of Eientei, the little white rabbits you saw around hopping in the mansion interior and along with you both as well.
By the time Reisen led you to the dining room, you were surprised when the little white rabbits about suddenly hopped up from your peripherals. Only this time, they weren't actual rabbits anymore, but now in the shape of giggling little girls with rabbit ears in dresses of a variety of warmer colors! Some with hats.
<span class="mu-i">"Snack time!"</span>
<span class="mu-i">"I'm starved!"</span>
<span class="mu-i">"I hope they made lotsa mochi!"</span>
"W-Woah!"
And there were a few more in this area, you saw them through an open shade just outside the dining hall lifting mallets or something similar to pound a green mush in a thick wooden mortar, in an almost rhythmic way as they hummed along and laughed. That green mush was steaming, and it did look pretty tasty, and smelled that way as well, that was mochi you guessed. This all seemed... charming, in it's own way, even if you were still adjusting to the unreal elements of these creatures.
The dining hall itself had a surprisingly relaxed atmosphere. There were a stack of used calendars below the current one on the wall, along with newspapers, and some odd bits and ends here and there. A small statue of a lion or something? A case with some fans on display, and the wooden floor actually had soft carpets. You could get used to this.
<span class="mu-i">"Here, have a seat."</span> Reisen offered before she stepped towards the white rabbits and whistled with her fingers. <span class="mu-i">"Hey, we have a guest here, Tewi! He'd like to try some of your rabbits' prized mochi."</span>
<span class="mu-i">"La-la-la...? Hmhm, is that so? Coming right up!"</span>
You look down at a table barely lifted off the floor, with a blanket built into it? Oh right, they sit on the floor in Japan! This is going to be weary on your used-to-chairs legs...
You just try your best to get comfortable sitting with crossed legs on a cushion at the table, struggling a moment to get your legs under the table's blanket thingy...
