You have decided to raid the smaller family tombs first- a good idea to work your way up. Perhaps you can find some new useful equipment- and it would be helpful to locate any problematic things before you turn your back on them...
The first few tombs yield a few treasures. Silver hair pins, a golden ring on the hand of a fat noble, the jeweled hilt of a sword long rusted to useless shards. Then, you turn a corner into a dark tomb and suddenly, literally out of nowhere, a spirit stands before you. It's quite startling; darkness and emptiness, and then a <span class="mu-i">being</span> just there- looking at you, quietly.
<span class="mu-b">"Gah!"</span>
The spirit isn't like the two miners. This one is of a woman, and she looks a bit afraid and alone. Spirits almost always appeared as they did at the end of their life- their wounds and bodies in the same state as they were just at the moment of their deaths. This woman looks ghastly- her entire body torn up in slashes, like from a sword or long knife, her hair torn as if grabbed by a brutish hand. She isn't accusing you of anything, nor moving towards you, but she takes a moment to scan the darkness, her motion sluggish and delayed, as if pantomime of a victim nervously checking for their attacker.
<span class="mu-r">"...Jon, take care. No matter what emotion a ghost displays, they could snap at any moment, or reflect her death's pain back at you. Imagine if she was torn to death by the ghouls- she would share that pain with you."</span>
<span class="mu-b">"Those aren't ghoul scratches. Richard, could you banish this spirit?"</span>
<span class="mu-r">"I believe so."</span>
Elly, having her confidence raised from her first encounter with the spirits from last year- speaks a little louder.
<span class="mu-g">"H-Hello? Is there something you want?"</span>
Jon didn't dare turn his back on the ghost, but he felt like chiding Elly for getting its attention. Damn, but the ghost is looking with an intense focus, as if trying to communicate something. I mean, the spirits you met from last year could speak and understand, this one just doesn't seem very talkative.
<span class="mu-r">"...Jon, what should we do? This poor soul is trapped here like the rest- I could try to free her, or at least put her back to rest..."</span>
>Have Richard banish the spirit
>Try to talk to the ghost
>Stay silent and see what it does
