>>5489234>Lily clearly is better at that mimicry.Apparitions and Aspirations will develop differently based on a lot of things. How they're nurtured, the environment they grow up in, their own nature... It wouldn't be surprising if Lily was much better at mimicry than Aegis at this point. Sharing a Mana origin only guarantees general traits will be similar, but what they become capable of? That can be very, very different. Even more so once they mature into an Aspiration.
>this is not a stage in its "life cycle" we've ever seen or heard of before- it's escalating further from an aspiration.Strictly speaking there's no real life cycle beyond Aspiration, because the most significant distinction between "Apparition" and "Aspiration" is its dependency on a core - some physical medium from which the entity relies on to maintain its manifestation and consciousness. Apparitions need them, rely on them, can be destroyed if they're damaged... Aspirations do not. They have no such core anymore, having outgrown the need for such an anchor. They are, functionally speaking, "adults" from that point on. Even the Mistral is merely an Aspiration, despite being an undying storm which covers most of the Northern Wastes on its own.
Which isn't to say your alarm is unfounded. This is purely an academic correction.
