>>5469737Sensing how much power Freeza's just thrown, you know the blast could easily destroy the entire planet, not just their home. So you abandon the mech behind you, flying directly over to the Zoldyck clan and standing between them and Zeno as the Zoldyck patriarch catches Freeza's world-destroying attack.
“What're you-?!” Silva starts as you throw your arms wide, ending your Energy Body as you unleash your energy out from you with a shout of “BARRIER!” Your emerald energy surges out, forming a dome of ki that solidifies into a solid barrier around all of you. “What's this?”
“Brace yourselves.” you say, digging your feet into the building below as you brace your own body as well. “It's about to blow.”
“Wha-?” Milluki asks, then Freeza's attack explodes.
<span class="mu-s">KABOOOOOOOM</span>
As Lord Freeza's attack detonates, everything outside your emerald dome simply vanishes. Everything is consumed by the fiery explosion, you hearing the Zoldycks behind you all start shouting in shock and surprise. But your energy holds, shielding every one of the Zoldycks within your protective energy. The explosion lasts for several seconds, you keeping your shield up until the fires of Freeza's blast fully fade. You then end the Barrier with a sigh, and immediately feel your instincts warning you of danger. So you whirl around, only to see Milluki taking a couple steps back from you. He was far closer that he'd been when you activated the Barrier, and immediately realize what he was probably planning. So you glare directly into his eyes, and with a smirk reactivate your Energy Body.
“Go ahead, give me an excuse to kill you early.” you reply with a voice filled with venom. He pales even more at this, taking two steps back before tripping over his own feet, falling onto his backside and he starts trembling nervously. “What, can't attack me to my face?”
“This is all your fault, you know.” the raven-haired one says smugly to his shorter, rounder brother. “If you hadn't done all this, they wouldn't be here for you now.”
“That's enough.” Silva says seriously, addressing both of his sons without turning his gaze from his grandfather. “Your grandfather is fighting for our family's honor over there. Watch, and maybe both of you will learn something.”
