>>5303092Walking over, you watch as Sachie carefully and skillfully dodges around Ledgic’s attacks, even obfuscating her Ki as she uses the Multi-Form to get in closer. The alien’s growing increasingly frustrates at her games, but that looks to be playing into a strategy she and Zarid have set up. As you get to 16, you comment to him, “They aren’t doing too bad, for as big a power gap there is between them.”
He nods in affirmation. “Indeed, yet I feel that is partially the result of Ledgic not taking them as seriously as prior fights.”
“You have any lingering thoughts on your match? How might you have dealt with them, knowing what you do now?” you inquire.
16 crosses his arms. “I see you’re still trying to get every angle you can on how to face them. You and Pantea could do to make it a bit less obvious.”
You flinch a bit as you hear that. “Ouch. Harsh.”
“I am not criticizing the act of it. That is smart. But doing so for that long makes you look suspicious.” 16 tells you with a bit of a smirk. “Regardless, I have been going over some ideas. One of them being destroying as much of the ring as possible to get them out on technicality.”
“That… sounds risky.” you tell him with hesitation. “Smart, but risky.”
“Another would be using myself to try to ring both of them out, much as you did against Maple and Acer.” he states. “Both tactics have an admittedly lower chance of victory than I would have cared for.” 16 looked forward once more. “I also suggest you try not to overthink this. Find a strategy that has both solid foundation, but adaptable enough that you can keep up with what they might try to pull. And accept that you will still need a bit of luck to win this.”
>A. That should be all. You really need to focus on the fight now>B. …Maaaaybe try one bit of Fusion practice with Pantea? Nothing complete, just, enough that you’re sure you can pull it off>C. There might be some others who you can ask for advice…>D. Something else?
