>>5608016You find yourself growing enraged upon having seen Diogenes beating on Corrine. With one of the copies taken care of and the real Diogenes softened up by Lysithea and Damian’s magic, you decide there’s no better time than now to rush in for the kill and finish off the Sage. You give out the command to target the real Diogenes, ignoring the copies, and lead the charge with your Killer Lance. He grins as you rush in to approach him, and his copies move forward in his defense. You have no intention of stopping your charge though, even as the two of them lash their weapons out towards you.
>Diogenes D3: 38 - 23 DEF = 15 DMG>Diogenes D4: 38 - 23 DEF = 15 DMG>Blair: 26/56 HPThe copy that wields the spear stabs you in the left shoulder while the one with the sword manages a cut across your abdomen that draws forth a gush of blood. The pain is brutal, but you continue to plow on through, focusing on your target and swinging your spear with all your might.
>Crit Roll (1-46)>7, 67 (First Hit Crits)>28 STR + 10 (Killer Lance+) = 38 – 26 DEF = 12 DMG + 3 (Left Wing) = 15 (DMG x 3 = 45 DMG, 15 DMG)>Diogenes D1: (66/150 HP)Your first attack is perfect, and the glaive catches Diogenes on the side of his neck. Had this been a normal opponent, no matter whom, their head would have been sent flying from the sheer force of your swing. Whether the Sage is somehow defending himself with magic or just has a wildly different anatomy than you, his head remains on tight, albeit with a large spray of blood showering you. The Sage’s arm that holds the scimitar lashes out, cutting you across your breast and piercing through your armor. You’ve been completely blinded by your rage though, and refuse to let up on the attack. You catch him again with your backswing, slicing through his other arm.
>Blair: 11/56 HP (POISONED: -5 HP a Turn)“Was that supposed to hurt?!” Diogenes taunts you, grinning and spitting blood. “You’re closer to death than I am you fool! Did you let your anger get the better of you? You’re nothing like him at all!” He raises his arm to deliver a killing blow against you, when he finds himself engulfed by twin sets of moonlight. He looks past you to find a badly wounded Lysithea, being propped up by Diana. Next to them is Anemone, both mages targeting the man with their own individual Luna spells.
“My parents…my siblings…all the people of Ordelia. This will feel like only a fraction of the pain you’ve caused them!” Lysithea declares, activating her Crests.
“For Eulalia.” Anemone says, gathering magic around her.
