“That’s my boss, bro! Heart of gold and all the great and good stuff, man! Proud to be part of the gang!” Dylan knew nothing would’ve happened. He looked worried the entire time. He’s a fraud. But he was hopeful, so you’ll give him a pass.
“Would it kill you to hug me back, girl?” Mama Bodil feels like she’s doing all the work.
“I-I can’t move at all… I’m exhausted beyond belief!” Vera reveals. Oh no, she’s like you after… doing those exhausting things you love to do!
“Then you’ll stay in Mama’s arms for the rest of the day…” Bodil carries the smiling girl like a baby. “You’ll have to wait for your hug, lil’ Johnny. Mama hasn’t forgotten about you.”
“Don’t worry, as long as Vera is well taken care of.” You smile.
“You’re a doll.” Mama Bodil winks. “Now that we’re talking, what a glow-up, you two. You all changed way too much from the pic, no wonder I couldn’t find ya.” Well, Vera was trying to conceal her appearance. You, on the other hand, make no sense.
“Bro, yeah… Now that you mention it, dude, it’s so true!” Dylan had no idea what you two looked like.
“Whatever, everything’s fine now.” Mama Bodil doesn’t put much thought into it.
“There’s one thing I want to say though.” You raise your hand.

“Thank you for everything!” You say from the bottom of your heart! You never properly thanked her for everything you went through. All that effort. “A note isn’t enough! I had to say it in person!”
“Don’t tear up, kid. You’ll make me cry too.” Mama Bodil chuckles to hide her feelings. “We’re getting too sappy and we’re here to celebrate! Let’s get out of here! We have plenty of time to talk about what happened!”
“You got it, boss!” Dylan raises his fist in approval.
“Yes, M-Mama Bodil!” Vera nods.
“Yes, Mama Bodil!” You say.
“Y-Yes, Mama Bodil!” Liu did it out of reflex, with one hiccup to boot.
“You, little one… I like you too.” Mama Bodil picks up Liu to give Vera a partner in arms.
It appears there’s nothing left but to celebrate! After a long arduous mission, the moment has arrived!
