And finally, there are far fewer pods than you expected. There's nowhere to hide except that little alcove, and it can't fit more than three, maybe four people. A few pods are sitting behind the servitors, their prisoners frozen in fear, like you were just minutes ago. But the math doesn't add up. There should have been far more Dogs of War than this. Your mind immediately goes back to Hi-Commandramon's warning, but you try to shake the prospect off.
<span class="mu-s">"We need to break through if we want to help."</span> Porcupamon says.
"I have some tools I'll deploy to distract the Commandramon." Squid declares. "You just pick a fight to join. Me, Bella, and Ryan will go clear them out, then move on to the bots."
"Can't your gun fire any more shots?" Ryan asks.
<span class="mu-s">"I need that to Digivolve. We're at sixty percent now. Just need to avoid taking big hits."</span>
"Is it getting less loose?"
<span class="mu-s">"A bit. I can hold it in, the decompiling is going well. But I don't want to risk it coming out in all this chaos."</span>
A sharpened blade tears apart one of Kaus Gammamon's wing membranes as you watch, causing him to crash land. Newly grounded, he takes up a bipedal fighting stance and protects that alcove with all he has, punching and kicking even as the blur swirls around him and draws lines of blood across his blue skin.
You look towards the groups of dueling Champions. It's a hard choice. Both of your allies are struggling, and it could be curtains for Leomon if you don't help. And yet, you can't save both. You bite your lip as you're forced to make another decision.
>Help Leomon. He looks like he's about to get finished off. Both Hi-Commandramons are keeping their guns trained on him, and his energy looks nearly spent. However, engaging two explosive-wielding Digimon is probably going to knock the OOPART out of him, slowing down progress even more.
>Assist Kaus Gammamon in fighting the mysterious blur, who you assume is the leader. If you can catch him by surprise, maybe you can score a good hit and turn the tides. Kaus Gammamon is the stronger and more experienced of the two Champions, he's a greater asset if you can preserve him. Wind is most likely behind the alcove too, if he's fighting that hard.
