The lands of Terra were a barren gold filled with numerous sand dunes and pale gold structures. These structures looked from afar to be made of sandstone but in truth they were turned a pale yellow by the constant radiation of the sun which blasted into them. Though it was known for only so long this was what gave Terra the name of the Golden Planet. For it was golden seat of humanity and the Emperor.
Thus did TalOS wonder if this planet was terriformed to look like this through the actions of the Emperor. What perfect analogs of power would flow through the warp if humanity came from the golden planet instead of the blue planet which old federation poetry always referred to Terra as. It was because of these stark differences that it lost its old name of Earth, for Earth was a planet of blue instead of gold which the Mechanicum always saw it as.
Traveling across the planet was not much of an issue as TalOS commandeered a Stormbird for his travels. A Custodian operated as the pilot as the Steel Wardens kept their guard around their gene-father.
The fighter, which was so high in the air that it brushed near the clouds, slowly came down as the Custodian realized their geomantic position. TalOS waited at the tailgate as he felt the numerous forces of the universe played out to complete the stop.
The Tailgate was lowered, which at the moment it finished TalOS walked forward with purpose in his step. Only a few seconds later he kneeled as he embraced a hug from an oncoming UZ1 who was dirty from the work she had been doing.
