>>5381061>The symbols though are the key.We know from experience with the Fortress (OOC: built by the Old Ones) that blackstone material by itself can be reversed, but there may be some effect within the symbols here that lend themselves resistant to it.
OOC: Every time Abaddon or the Imperium for that matter has to deal with Necron Pylons, they have to destroy them. But they aren't able to corrupt them, otherwise Abaddon would be more keen on actually capturing and twisting the runes on them to make them positive and chaos corrupted.
https://youtu.be/kWEH4sjqlmYConversely, from what I hear, the Eldar runes in the stories all the time get corrupted and twisted to mislead their prophecies, since their runes are psychic based.
So there is something else to the runes in my theory that render them night impervious to corruption, and must instead be destroyed. Even after Cadia Fell, in Emperor's Legion the Black Legoin simply took the pieces of it and tried to use them as warp lane disabling mines to nullify warp travel in a region, rather than trying to use them as arcane foci for more evil warp shenanigans.
If we get the runes right, we could significantly hinder or even prevent any future attempts to invert the polarity of our blackstone projects.
The Symbols may offer an additional resistance to polarity reversal!
Anyone have any idea on which particular strategem/ability/rule these three different options might be hinting at?
