Astamon nods. His defensive capabilities come from having superior data. He can't tank a massive blast like that. Smaller attacks can be shrugged off, but you don't want to let him take a hit from that, ever.
<span class="mu-s">"Fall back to that alley."</span>
The two of you back away to discuss your plans. While you have a quick discussion, Astamon makes sure to poke his gun out and fire randomly, curving his shots so they pepper the enemy's side. Even when you're mid-conversation, nobody can accuse you two of slacking.
>Try to get behind it and turn it around. The City's forces are being faced with its firepower, and if it shoots that beam again, they're in big trouble. If you sneak through the alleys, you could force it to rotate its body and fight you, turning those deadly heads away from allied forces. They might also be able to pepper it with heavier attacks from behind, whittling it down and making your job earlier.
>Have Astamon march right up and challenge it. This thing is a leader of multiple giant, savage Digimon. It must rule through brute strength. If you can have him step up and destroy it in full view of everyone, you might be able to break their morale and scatter these forces. It's likely that he'll get hurt pursuing this route, but that's a cost you might have to pay. Plus, you want an outright win.
>Get above it using the surrounding buildings and have Astamon ambush the primary head. If you can pull off a surprise attack, you might be able to punch through and deal heavy damage. Your running theory is that he'll struggle to aim his beams too far upwards, so you'll be protected from his ultimate move. But it remains to be seen whether the Digicore is in the blue head.
