The Position TalOS had elected for himself was a small hill roughly a click away from the enemy’s position. The location in itself was with a small hill that ultimately only made it easier for vehicles and skitarii to charge the city when the time comes.
When it came to the height advantage of Particep Semper, it provided none. Comparing the Titan to the walls of the enemy city TalOS realized that he was in fact much taller than them. Though the fact that there were walls on the city told TalOS a lot about the civilization.
For one, the use of any defenses meant that they were prepared for war at any time. The fact that walls were present meant the Xenos were expecting a front attack that would be consider a tidal wave to crash against them.
A beam of destruction went through the air and slammed itself against the walls from Domi Potens with enough power to destroy anything that would have been natural. Such a strike instantly revealed that the Xenos were employing some form of shielding around their city.
That gave TalOS the realization that the tactic the Xenos wanted them to use was obvious. They would force the Mechanicum to charge their walls while under fire by whatever witchery they were capable of wielding against them. Perfect for dealing with Orks and would have been horrible for the Mechanicum if it was not for the fact that three Titans were staring them down.
+Divert resources to Plasma Annihilator. Engage overheating systems.+ TalOS said to the Moderati as he analyzed the barrier. With a thought he connected himself to the other Titans, +Fire upon my command, see if we can overwhelm whatever sorcery is creating this.+
+Understood Particep Semper. On your command.+ Domi Potens said as his Volcano Cannons walked up to full power.
TalOS took the moment and processed the firing solution. Numerous calculations went through his head as he mitigated whatever damage would have occurred thanks to the overcharging of the weapon. The result entered his mind like water.

Within a single command the Titans fired their guns at the shield. All of the land between the Titans and the Shield simply melted under the concussive force the the attack. TalOS soon received a series of readings as Acillians, Skitarii, and Tech Priest reported that they were hearing screams upon that attack.
