TalOS returned to Lucius, but to the joy of the people he was the ruler of.
It took time, lots of time, but with every year that passed the People of the Federation found themselves becoming more and more use to the state of being that TalOS was. The Parliament was no longer deeply afraid of the creature TalOS became with the reasonable thought that this is how things are now.
There was always a moment where a new person comes and finds themselves terrified at what kind of creature TalOS is. But with a culture being adjusted those people found themselves easily able to adjust to the temperament that TalOS wanted to set.
Time went by, a decade worth. Things had stabilized within the Imperium with the welcoming of another brother to TalOS known as Lion El’ Johnson. An invitation was sent to the Master of the First Legion, but the temperment of this brother was shared by the most recent of discoveries. That of wishing for only war and no other pleasantries.
A tradition was surely broken during that month of communication. No longer were the brothers of TalOS obligated to visit their distant, wayward brother to tighten the links between themselves and their Legions. Within a few months TalOS found the First had expelled the Auxiliary from their ranks.
TalOS had of course asked why they did this. The Legion, now known as the Dark Angels, sent a message detailing their the duties their Legion were to perform left reason to host outsiders.
As Fabricator General this would be a great slight. To see his sons rejected in such a manner without care. Even Mortarion, who must have scoffed at the idea of TalOS’s invintation, still kept the auxiliary. As TalOS could see the only benefit that his brother included was that Lucius did not need to supply any pieces of equipment to the First.
TalOS was no fool though and had seen the records from Mars. If there was a Legion that could be described as the Favored Sons in the way of the Mar’s technology it would be the First Legion. Only the Second were above them, but that was because the Second created their own deathrays.
It did not take much intuition to see that the First Legion was going to be an oddity to TalOS among other things.
