Looks fairly young, but is old enough to be smoking weed in the 60's. Seems kinda kooky, but is good enough at her job to have kept it for 4 decades and has permission to hand out drugs to teens. Given her approximate age, her teacher's teacher who she learned about messed up, mixed up souls from was probably around for the American Civil War, at the least. Kind of weird but seemingly very competent and pretty observent, since half of Divination is seeing thing as they truly are and having an open mind.
An anti-Trelawney, even if to her knowledge, Professor Cross has never spat out a prophecy.
Or maybe she is just really lucky?
