No more rodeos, there is something Celia wants you to do, and it’s time to learn if it’s in the realm of possibilities or not.
“What do you want me to do exactly, and I’ll tell you if I can do it or not.” You get to the point.
“There’s no shame in turning into a soft plushy.” Celia believes it’s quite wonderful. Her hedgehog wants a friend.
“I can do other stuff, look at how tall I am, no shelf can stop me.” You half-joke. “You won’t make me believe turning into a marketable plush doll is the key part of your great scheme.”
“You got me there.” Celia really wanted to see it. “Follow me, I can’t make a proper request in the middle of the street.”
“Alright.” You follow her trail.
A couple of streets away, an abandoned Café becomes your meeting point. Celia has the keys. The place is quite dilapidated. It hasn’t seen action for a good time, even the boxes look rusty. It’s a miracle this is still standing, you remember this is the same route you took to escape the giant skeleton Seioubo. Maybe a couple of streets away, give or take.
“It has seen better days, huh?” You take a napkin out of your not-bagna and clean up some of the dust from the table you’re going to use.
“I guess…” Celia looks behind the counter for a briefcase. “How much do you know about Lokyo’s underworld? Plenty, I imagine.”
“More than the average guy, but I’m no expert.” You scratch the back of your head.
“I need you to take this man out.” Celia puts a photo on the table. You vaguely recall the man in the photo, it’s not someone you’ve seen before, but you can’t put your finger on it. “You know who it is, don’t you?”
“Indulge me.” You don’t want to jump to conclusions.
“He’s the leader of the Youhao Clan, the biggest crime syndicate in the city.” Celia taps the picture. “Predictably, he goes by Gianluigi Youhao.”
“Ah, I see.” You act nonchalantly. “Our date is over then?”
“I’m sorry, this is important too…” Celia grabs her clothes.
