You crouch down in front of Lottatax and Ramster and hold up your hands and shake your head!
"Joe can catch Ekro!"
Ramster looks behind you and says "Ram-ram?" When you look over your shoulder at Joe you see Joe swinging his rope and then he throws it toward one of the Ekros but the Ekro dodges out of the way! Joe swings his rope and throws it at another Ekro but the Ekro flies past too quickly!
Joe shifts his stance and watches the Ekros fly around the room.
What? Joe is just standing still? It's because he's watching for the best time to throw his rope! Joe watches the Ekros fly in circles around the room for a few moments and then he throws his rope and the loop goes around the Ekro's foot and tightens! It seems like Joe caught Ekro!

Ekro2 disappeared!
Ekro3 disappeared!
Ekro1 is fleeing the fight!

Suddenly the Ekro disappears and Joe's rope falls down on the floor in front of him!
[SFX: fluttering]
Another Ekro disappears and then the last Ekro flaps his wings and dive-bombs Tamounda!
Tamounda says "Tamounda!" and crouches down as low as he can!
Ekro flies over Tamounda's head and says "Tamounda!" and then flies through the doorway <span class="mu-r">up the stairs</span> into the darkness!
You peek up the stairs but you can't see anything because it's too dark! When you look back at Joe you see him coiling up the rope. Joe looks up at you and says "It's pretty late. We should probably go to sleep."
Ramster says "Ram-ram!" and walks through the doorway and looks up the stairs and then sits down next to Onlion and puts on a tiny sleep mask.
Tamounda turns around and trots over to Onlion and lies down next to it and closes his eyes.
Lottatax climbs on top of Tamounda and stretches and then lies down and closes his eyes.
Joe looks behind him at the stairs and then looks at you. "It's probably safe as long as we all stay together." Joe nods toward one of the fancy couches. "You can sleep on that one." You lie down on the couch and Joe puts some more wood in the fireplace and then he lies down on another couch.
You look around at the scary shadows and then look back at the fireplace as quickly as you can! You don't know if you'll be able to sleep because this house is so scary!

What? You think you fell asleep for a little while? It seems like the fireplace isn't as bright as it was! When you look around you see Joe sitting up on the other couch looking at the fire. It seems like he might still be upset!
"Don't be upset, Joe!"
Joe looks over at you and you smile at him.
"You can find more mons!"
Joe looks at you for a moment and then looks at the fireplace. "I guess you're right. Maybe we'll see another Ekro." Joe glances at you and says "And I've got you. Um, I mean..."
"We have each other!"
What? You think you saw Joe smiling?
