The pain was there, that pain when one experiences a machine’s death. It was a devastating one for no human should be able to experience death. Though the power of the Machines though one can experience the absolute pain of being lost to oblivion. It was something that few could still stand when they had experienced it.

He looked upon his right arm with the limb aching with power and might. The subtle flashes of strength and power flowing through his veins. In the moment where Navaros Dominus died he also felt the greatest exaltation of his lifetime.
“Did you feel the Machine God in those moments?” Fredric Borgius asked as he looked over at his fellow from a nearby chair.
“...” The Prince stayed silent as he strained his arm again, “How did you describe it?”
“As if the Steed was in full repair, a moment of absolute strength that could not be rivaled.”
“Then I did.” Admitted the Prince as he formed a fist, “Is that what you wanted to ask me about?”
There was a sudden shuffle among some of the guards in the room upon those words. Though those who could be described as more than human did not move an inch upon such a fiery spoken word. As expected of the Steel Wardens, those who were tasked to secure the highest level of Tech Priests and now the one who killed the Overlord. Those guards who had sworn themselves to Navaros though had moved.
Fredric leaned back as he spoke, “It was not the only thing, but it was something I wanted to know. It is evident that the Machine God looks fondly upon the Knights of Dutonis and have granted upon us miracles.”
“Miracles…” There was a moment of ponderment within those words, “It could have been the last moment of Atlas’s divine will.”
“As a gift from the Machine God to him, I am sure.” Answered Fredric as he took out a small apple and began cutting, “What of those last moments, what did you feel?”
Alexander looked upon Fredric with a dirty stare, “I cannot let you talk to me like I am some sort of child. That is a grave disrespect to House Navaros Fredric.”
“Then banish me.” The other Prince said as the two locked eyes.
