That last part came out as a purr, and Abe raised an eyebrow before following her lead. Absently, you wondered if Cat would actually try to hook up with your clone. She had no reason to suspect that the two of you were that closely related, but even if she knew, you doubted that it would bother her much. She’d flirt with anything that walked on two legs, and Abe was no exception. It was hard to tell when she was serious about her teasing, though. Something told you that she enjoyed the game more than the actual result.
Prowler sighed and you snickered to yourself, walking over to join the other two at the table.

The planning phase was regretfully short, as none of you had the time to do any proper recon on this particular facility. Roxxon was well known for their tight security and their ability to retaliate to any attack with overwhelming firepower. It’d take an absolute maniac to assault their facilities directly.
That was why you were going to have Abel infiltrate their main building, wait until he placed those tiny transceivers, and let Prowler do his thing while you and Cat stayed on as lookouts.
It wasn’t much of a plan, but it was the best that you could do right now.
“Oh, I almost forgot.” you said, shoving the Huntsman suit into his hands. “Put this on before we leave.”
He frowned at you. “You’re giving me your suit?”
“It’s a loaner, so try not to trash it.” you corrected. “I’ll be getting you your own after tonight.”
“Thanks. I’ve missed wearing this thing.” he said, running his fingers along the fireproof material.
“We can stop by Phin’s shop first thing tomorrow. Try to think up a new design until then.” you said, giving him an encouraging pat on the shoulder.
He nodded his approval, and then turned to glance at something over on the table. You followed his gaze and found that he was openly staring at your firearms.
“You can keep those. The knife too.” he said quickly.
You gave him a curious look, and then shrugged. “I haven’t been using them much myself, lately. They’re just there for insurance.”
He nodded again. “Good. I’d rather not rack up an even bigger body count.”
“Message received.” you said, snagging your knife with a webline and stashing it in your belt for the time being.

A minute later, Abe was changed, and your crew was ready to roll out. You could’ve spent some more time planning, but Prowler wanted to use the few remaining hours to set up a lookout point and gather intel.
You all agreed and swung your way over to Roxxon Plaza. It didn’t take a terribly long time, and it was easy enough to find, even without a map. The main building was absolutely massive!
And having the corporate brand splayed across the top of the skyscraper was a huge help too.
