Time moved on and messages were both sent and received. The amount of worlds being crafted by Lucius were increasing every single month with peak efficiency. The population within the Federation did experience an explosion as many of the more rural planets gained an influx of goods. Even the Hive Worlds enjoyed the cost of living shrink as transports carrying bounties of food crossed into their domain.
One expected component, where everyone was now closely knit, was the growth of traffic between planets. Many of the Knightly Nobles were becoming wealthy enough that they could afford ships to specifically transport their foodstuffs and Steeds. There were also cartels from the Hive Worlds expanding themselves into the interstellar trade with second hand ships from the Federation’s own Navy.
With time, TalOS noted, commerce will become a mainstay for the Federation. Once the Forge Worlds that dotted the Federation will be expanded.
Looking at the realm, TalOS knew that by M30 850 that the Federation will be operating at such a capacity that his hands will not be directly needed.
While TalOS looked forward to the glory that was the future and stayed within the Federation, he watched the Imperium too move forward. Estimates were arriving that the coming decade will become one of the greatest expansions that humanity had ever seen thanks to the Emperor touching the other side of the galaxy. The Legions will now start looking inward and fighting what will be the greatest fights they have yet incurred.
A good example is the planet known as Ullanor. It was the greatest Ork Empire ever to be identified by the Mechanicum and likely the only one of its size. It had so many Orks within it that the systems were under continuous civil war which to the Ork kind could be considered a golden age of their species. If the Imperium right now was to touch Ullanor it will surely die as the Orks find their greatest rival empire.
TalOS’s creator, in his ancient wisdom, has placed a blockage around the system that would prevent any ships from entering the Empire. When the Orks decided to expand, the Imperium would allow it. If the Imperium was to face off against the Orks now then it would guarantee its own death.
What the Emperor needed were his Generals, his creations, now more than ever. TalOS knew that this decade will be the one where the greatest among them will be found.
To prove him right, upon the first year of the new decade news had arrived that another of his brothers were discovered. TalOS sent the man an invitation, and once more another had taken him up on it.
