>>5281116>Take the lead yourself. You’ve handled talking to politicians and this won’t be so different. As the five of you approach, Caesar moves forward to take the lead. You subtly stop her, placing a hand on her leg. She looks over to you, and after a moment, lets you move ahead of her.
“You must be the representative from the Kure Maritime Museum?” You ask as you approach the table. “We’re the Ooarai History Club, it’s a pleasure to meet you.”
“Yes, I am,” the man confirms as he reaches for your hand. “Haru Todaka, a pleasure to meet you.”
“Fritz Hermann,” you reply. He lets go and shakes the hands of the other members of the history club.
He works his way though them, before finally reaching Oryou. She introduces herself then says: “I was not expecting the director’s son to be the one reaching out to us.”
“The museum is very interested in your recent find, so we’re taking all available steps to secure the items,” he says. “Please, take a seat.”
He gestures to the table he was sitting at in the corner of the Café. It already has several plates of different pastries and other baked goods.
The five of you sit, and after a moment to get comfortable, get down to business.
“So, I’ve read the report the five of you put out,” he begins. “Fascinating stuff really, who would have thought that such an interesting piece of history would be hidden away on a schoolship?”
“Well, they’re big ships Mr. Todaka,” you reply. “A lot of things can fall between the cracks.”
“Like those documents you found initially, right?”
“Exactly,” you nod. “Given how much stuff is on and in the schoolship, I wouldn’t be surprised if there’s so much more to be found.”
“Though I’m sure what’s left is no where near as exciting as an actual treasure hunt, is it?” he replies.
“Well who knows?” Caesar says. “There’s plenty of Ooarai left to be explored.”
“Definitely!” He laughs. “Though that’s perhaps best left for later, lets get back to your finds, shall we? I have to admit, the museum and I would love to get our hands on it.”
(These choices aren’t mutually exclusive)
