The Omnissiah, realizing what he had to do, smiled to enhance the effect, “Magnus, brother, to think that you came here to finish the job that you have already started. Once you were a fool, now you are a jester for a foul god.”
“Silence TalOS!” The Red Giant shouted back as he swiped his weapon in the air. In doing so a bellow of fire was created that stretched between the two of them in an attempt to engulf the Master of Machines, “You understand nothing!”
The Omnissiah paid witness to the fire for only a moment, quickly taking his weapon and spinning it. Magnetic forces quickly built up and summoned the bits of metal and iron that had scattered themselves in the dust below the two brothers, thus creating a cloud of material that intercepted the magical balefire.
“Our Father had warned you a great many times. He had warned you that by bargaining with those you never truly understood that it would leave to damnation.” The Omnissiah began falling back all while summoning three spears of plasma that were thrown at Magnus, “You ignore his warnings and lost Foresight. Thus the moment you tried to save the Imperium you did not realize what it was you were about to do. That using such foul magics would attact beings you should never tempt.”
“I SAID SILENCE!” Magnus yelled as he took the bait and rushed the Omnissiah, “I shall not listen to one who threw himself at the feet of a god! At least I had the gull to get something out of it!”
“I serve the Machine God of my own will.” The Omnissiah answered simply, “You only serve your Lord for he has wrapped you in a collar of magic and lies.”
The wounds of Magnus were fresh and easily salted with every pass. Magnus had lost his foresight to Tzeentch and to make sure that his slave would continue to be a slave never received it back. Thus the Primarch did not realize how they were edging just that little more distance from the battlefield and right around one of the many corners.
