A large screen lowered from the ceiling, and your eyes darted between it and the man addressing the entire audience. An enlarged image of his face appeared on the screen, giving you a close-up of the strange invader that barged his way on stage. He wore a bright, green suit covered in black stars, a purple top-hat with a swirling circle in the center, a black bolo tie, and round, thick-rimmed glasses. The strange man appeared to be getting up in his years, and he carried a long black cane in his gloved hands.
You glanced at Anastasia, and she gave you a concerned look.
<span class="mu-g">“Now, I need you all to listen to me very carefully.”</span> the man said, reaching for his hat and spinning the circular mechanism. <span class="mu-g">“Help me rob this city blind!”</span>
Almost instinctively, you shut your eyes upon feeling your spider-sense flare up, and you held them tight for what felt like an eternity, but was probably only about a minute and a half in real time.
When your spider-sense stopped buzzing, you opened your eyes again, only to see that everyone in the audience was staring blankly at the screen. Even Anastasia, Felicia and Prowler. Curiously enough, Flint was the only other person you had seen that didn’t appear to be affected at all. You guessed that being a big, sentient pile of sand without any discernible human biology had its advantages.
<span class="mu-g">“Follow me, my impressionable minions! And together, we shall paint this city green!”</span>
The guy in the green suit began to crackle as he twirled his cane, his unruly circus troupe laughing along with him. This was getting a little out of hand…
What will you do?

Once you have enough of them detained, you can go after the perpetrators.>Pretend to be hypnotized and follow the others outside. As soon as you get an opportunity to take this guy out, you’ll take it. You don’t need to be in costume to kick this wimp’s ass.>Pretend to be hypnotized and just go with the flow.
