"Yes, but don't worry your head about it. I have my own way of sniffing out people who steal from me." A dry, bitter tone creeps into his words. "Regardless, what do you know about them?"
"A lot, actually." You rapidly summarize the basics on the glasses' properties: the antimemetic moths, how it lets you bypass 199X's information redaction, etc. You mostly put emphasis on the auras and how you want to learn more about them.
"Ah. Not the first time I've heard someone babbling about auras. We only know that they're tied to a person's character or past in some way. We have some basic knowledge on what four of the colors mean." He lists them off as:
RED: Pain, rage, love, passion
BLUE: Melancholy, empathy, loyalty, passivity
BLACK: Formality, strength, regret, fear.
GREY: Reliability, professionalism, numbness, suppression.
"The rest?" Rudolf can only offer a polite chuckle. "We're still learning ourselves. At least we know the way the aura manifests typically clues you in on the person."
You have a brief flashback to Anthony's aura. There was a lot of red and black in his aura. A man who's been around as long as he has probably has some skeletons in his closet. That tracks with what you know about him.
"W-what's my aura like, V-vincent?"
"I'll talk about it later. I'm curious, what does mine look like?" You hand the glasses over to Rudolf. "I couldn't really see mine."
"Ah ha. An experiment, unfolding right before our very eyes. Are any of you good at drawing, if you don't mind me asking?"
"Lil' ol Lucy here is." Anthony pats her on her back, grimacing as his hand briefly sinks in.
"O-oh! Y-yeah, I g-got some colored pens." She slides over to Rudolf right as he puts on the glasses. She begins to scribble down a rough outline of you while Rudolf examines your 'aura'.
The concept of an aura feels really, really phony and fake, even though you've dealt with anomalies over the last seven days. Rudolf's mouth twists into a concerned frown. Is something wrong with whatever he's seeing?
"More colorful than I expected...no offense, of course! You're rather grey, after all. I was just expecting it to be all grey!"
"Rudy, pal, mind explain' what ya mean by that? Is it good or bad?"
Rudy doesn't respond to Anthony's questioning. He's whispering to Lucy, and by the sounds of it, it's a LOT of stuff to record. Lucy is scribbling like crazy on her little clipboard. You just have to silently stand there, waiting to hear what the whole hubbub about your aura is about.
After what feels like ten solid minutes, Lucy finally stops scribbling down what your aura looks like. She hands you the sheet of paper she was writing on, and WOW, he wasn't lying.
The background around you is scribbled as a dark, dour grey, and that same color is scratched onto your face, obscuring any facial features you might've had.
The rest of the body is covered in a spiral pattern, spinning around and around across the surface of your form. It's hard to look away from.
