Thinking fast, you tell her to stay in the booth, and dart out to find that employee. You waylay her as she steps out of the backroom, and you ask her if she has a face mask you can use.
She pauses for a moment and then tells you to wait while she grabs one from behind a nearby register.
You hurry back to the booth and put it on the Changeling. Now instead of a monster she looks like a child suffering from some sort of disease.
Perfect.
You ask Tamako if being carried around is also being treated like a baby. Her eyes go wide for a second, and then says, "Yeah! That's for babies!"
She strides with confidence out of the booth, and you scoop up the eggshell and put it in your inventory. You have plans for this.
As you walk past the shop worker you thank her for the mask, and that your niece is a bit sickly and needed it.
"Niece? But-" The lady starts, but Tamako interrupts her and says, "Thanks! And I wasn't being carried in the backpack, okay?"
You leave the attendant there confused and quickly head to the grocery side of the store. You put Tamako in an empty cart and start driving her around the aisles.
You are a little unsure of what a Changeling needs in terms of nutrition. Clearly it eats meat. Can you feed a Changeling too much or too little? Couldn't it just change to be neither fat nor skinny? So many questions. You decide to grab a bit of everything, meat for sure. You ask Tamako what she would like to eat.
She thinks hard for a second and replies, "I kinda wanna try ramen."
You can certainly afford instant ramen, and she seems quite excited by the prospect.
While bending over a shelf trying to figure out what an "endive" is, you hear a small gasp from behind you. Turning you see Tamako missing from the cart. Panicked, you start looking around corners, calling out to her.
Luckily, she is down the nearest aisle, hanging off the cart of and talking to...
A rather beautiful woman. Large. Both in height and in chest size.
