>>5338880At this point I've sort of scaled back my goals to getting us to tip top 30k shape before we even think of any newfangled robot designs.
Well, even 40k shape for that matter, melta's are still "new".
First we have to achieve 40k. Then we have to achieve 30k. Then, if we achieve 30k, we can experiment.
My question for many things is generally:
>Do we know that it exists, but don't have access to it right now because we need to implement it or acquire it from a lost planet or from Mars or such>Are we unawares that it exists, and so have to discover it in the course of the game by coming upon the planet/stc/inventing itThis is true for both our Mechanicum and Legiones Astartes elements
In the case of the Auxilia Myrmidion for example, that will require us gaining access to the Calixis Sector and the Lathe Stars of segmentum Obscurus.
Or for example, Legion Seeker Squads. Alpharius was the one to invent the concept of Legion Seeker Squads, and the Emperor thought it was a good idea and let it spread so other legions could use them. Obviously Alpharius is the "last" Primarch to be "reunited" with his sons so we're a long ways off from employing them.
>>5338884>>5338894We can always wait until we upgrade it to be more than just a standard Omnissian Axe and maybe make it an Artificer Weapon
For example, if we give it an Aegis Energy edge we can name it a light based name like "Edge of Enlightenment" or something.
Or if we get our hands on some fancy Phase Blade material when helping establishing the Officio Assasinorum, give it an esoteric name
