“We Agarthans have survived thousands of years in the harshest conditions, fighting for our survival each step of the way. I won’t allow gutter trash like you to step one foot near me!” Hypatia yells. The Agarthan Cleric, dual wielding her staves, lifts them both to the sky as she summons the power locked within them. Almost immediately, Sebastian slumps down to the floor. You fear the man dead at first, only to quickly realize he’s been rendered instantly unconscious by a Sleep stave, a rare type of staff capable of sending its target into a deep slumber. You prepare to shout a warning to your comrades, when you suddenly feel the effects of Nancy’s second stave targeting you.
You find that you’re having trouble voicing your warning, as if it was somehow caught in your throat. Though you’ve never experienced this before, you quickly deduce that you’re being targeted by a Silence staff. Hypatia is attempting to stifle your usage of magic. Your voice croaks weakly in your throat, but the magic has yet to take its full effect. Perhaps with enough willpower, you may be able to overcome the condition before it fully sets in.
You note that in addition to two more tubes shattering behind the first set of Mogalls, an entirely new pack of Fenrir have assembled at the end of the hall.
