<span class="mu-b">"Let's load this all up- use the tub like a wheelbarrel. Just... without the wheels."</span>
<span class="mu-r">"Hey- look at what I found beneath the pulpit."</span>
It's a trapdoor. Circular, carved into the stone. It's not locked, surprisingly, but a heavy bolt was slid into place from the top opening as if to keep it from being opened from the bottom. It was also hidden underneath a decayed remains of an old carpet. Richard opens it up- and there is an immediate feeling of damp air rising up to meet you. The darkness from below is barely illuminated by your torch- it's a natural cave system; the far away sounds of dripping water and the walls of smooth stone jut with sharp spikes from the floor and ceiling.
"It's a cave! Yet another floor of the dungeon, found. The old temple-makers probably built this to keep it away- the door would be sacred if it was built in a church. Good way to keep it safe from forces beneath. I wonder how deep this place really goes..."
<span class="mu-b">"It may as well go on forever. We'll go down there next time, no matter what."</span>
<span class="mu-r">"...Even if it reaches all the way to hell?"</span>
<span class="mu-b">"Cover this up and hide it again. Let's keep this in mind for our next trip. We wouldn't want anyone else stumbling across it while we're out..."</span>
With that, the treasure is loaded into the silver washing basin. It's a big, heavy thing; just barely possible to lift with everyone pitching in. Richard is wounded, Nasir barely can do more then Elly; but Jon and the Snail can make up for it with great effort. They just go slow- and have to take a lot of breaks.
<span class="mu-b">"Urff.. Gotta... get out of this... mountain... before... sundown..."</span>
<span class="mu-r">"I... don't think... that's gonna happen- urgh- Jon!"</span>
"-Hey, did anyone just hear that? Scratching! From the walls?"
