I'm so back and I did some shit

Instead, she looked at you in silence for a moment. Turning over to your compatriot, she continued. "Does that sound good to you, Saemu-"
Her voice was interrupted by a faceful of mist. Fahy had mastered an underhanded motion of tossing almost the entire load of pellets at a single spot. The technique was impressive, and you make note of it, but Katriina was not happy about being a practice dummy.
"I did not yet say to start," she elaborates flatly.
The man gave an awkward shrug. "I figured the likes a you would have had eyes in the back of your head." Ms. Jousten did not humor the comment with a response.
After a more traditional beginning to the exercise, you find her movements rather lackluster compared to before. She managed to pull shocking rolls underneath some of the projectiles mid-flight, but just as often you had the idea to feint, faking a launch and then sling it sideways to catch her after she would jump. As she was hit, she would give a mild praise, before turning dashing toward you to make it harder for Saemus to land a hit. He had similar success, able to use the broad strokes of the gauntlet's projectiles to catch her. It was tricky to not hit each other, but with the right positioning, you were able to use yours to deny her a path and force her into a less advantageous position. There was, of course, times where neither of you could attack her as she was directly between the two of you, and in those times she would evade the attacks. She never got close enough to hit you or Fahy with the prop spear she was carrying, but it didn't seem like such was her intention to from the start.
As you watched her, it became clear she was not in a right state of mind. Her mood is soured from the start, obviously, but besides that, she seems distracted. There's moments where she's just lost in thought, either looking at you or Fahy or nothing in particular.
At some point she just stops, and ceases attempting to dodge. Her hair is visibly damp, and though she is panting, she doesn't seem terribly exhausted. It was bothersome for you to perform these attacks yourself, but likewise you're not drained. For a second you think something might have been wrong, but you realize she had seen what she wanted to see and was going to move on.
That doesn't stop Fahy from splashing Jousten one last time. A stern gaze was enough to get him to take the glove off and leave it on the floor.
