>>5259858You walk over to Kazeko, Tsukuya content to simply follow along as long as she can hold onto you. Kazeko raises an eyebrow at that as you approach. “How much have I missed?”
You grin, waving her off. “Tell ya later. How’d it go with you? Tsukuya-chan couldn’t make much progress, and Shin’s still tryin’ in his own way.”
She smiles at that, looking at the sword in her hand. “It went well, actually. I couldn’t make any progress whatsoever.”
Now it’s your turn to raise an eyebrow, confused. “How’s not making any progress having things go well?”
“Because I know why. I managed to meet my zanpakuto spirit.”

This was getting more and more interesting by the second. “So you’re a dual type? Like Kyoraku-taicho?”
“Kyoraku?” She asked, curious. Tsukuya also looked at you with the same curiosity, no doubt recognising the name as one of the noble houses.

He and Ukitake-taicho are the only ones with dual type zanpakuto, but of the two of them, only Kyoraku-taicho has two blades, even when his zanpakuto is sealed.” You tapped your sword against your shoulder where it had been resting this entire time, it feeling so natural in your hand that you’d almost forgotten it was there. “That is, before you apparently.”
“I see.” Kazeko said simply, taking in the information. “I hadn’t realised it was so rare a phenomenon. Regardless, I’ll need to ask for a second asauchi.”
She then turned to you. “What are you going to do? I assume you’re done with training for the day.”
You…
