Shen steps over his friend's body, bending over a moment to tuck your pillow under Roshi's head. "Sorry, I just had to interrupt that. You can't listen to this fool when it comes to love advice, he's never even kissed a girl before!" Shen says with a laugh, causing you to furrow your brows.
"Huh, really? But he said he had a system and everything!" You exclaim.
"Yeah, but it's never once worked. No, what you want to do to win a girl's heart is use the S.H.E.N. system..." He starts to say. Needless to say, that night is full of conflicting information from the two people, with Shen's system apparently favoring an aggressive approach to seize the affection you want as opposed to Roshi's system of making them infatuated with you first. Honestly, you regret even raising the subject with them, but you thankfully manage to avoid an argument on who has the better method by saying you'll take their advice into consideration but will likely just wing it like you do most things.
You ultimately asked her out by asking if you were to need to court her to someday marry her like her father suggested, which she responded to quite positively, asking her if such a thing was indeed what you planned to do. After some coy back and forths as such, you do become an official item, and your conversations turn considerably more intimate over the next few months. She commonly sent you heartfelt poems, of both her feelings towards you and of the beauty she sees in the world around her, of her memories of your valor and of the pleasant dreams she now has thanks to you freeing her. She often referred to you as her knight in shining armor after you sent pictures of yourself in your newest gear to her, and you often teased her in turn about being like a princess from a fairy tale.
