“If it is prefered we should employ it.” Declared Prime Dominus Pteraxii as he lowered his head to look over the tactical vidfeed, “We will have the Orks within our hands. If done right the Mitu will also not experience a reprieve from their feral kind until they are completely eliminated if we employ the tactics correctly.”
The Martian stood as tall as he could as he took his chance to speak, “I support this motion. This will be the moment in a semi-controlled environment when we can increase what was learned during the Training Exercises. An impassable opportunity.”
“Supported.” Was all High Dominus Eretis answered to the group present, though TalOS could tell he did not have a true heart in it for some reason.
“We have a decision made. Legion Master Matthais, I take it that the Imperial Fists have not engaged themselves in an advisory role before?”
“You would be correct Primarch.” The Astartes barked with the sense of surprise within his voice, “That was the role of the First Legion before we left Terra. I however will not dishonor the Legion in rejecting this new role.”
“Then you are willing to work with Skitarii and my sons. To maximize the effectiveness of this strategy; you will be expected to do joint operations with mortals.”
“I do not think my Legion will perform adequately if we are employed in such a way due to our inexperience and need for cohesion. May I request that Auxilia containing at minimum a hundred Astartes be the option when operated jointly to maintain said unit cohesion.”
“Permission is given, Matthais.” TalOS told the Astartes with a human wave of the hand, “Know today that your participation has likely saved millions of lives in our exhibition through the Orkoid Empire. When I meet your Father I shall first and foremost sing my praises for your service today .”
“I thank you for that honor Primarch TalOS.” The Imperial Fist answered, giving the Tech Priest a willful bow.
“Let us start getting into the details. Here is the chart of stellar alignment based on Terran Federation charts that were adjusted for stellar movement of seven thousand years.”
And with those words the few of them began analyzing the records that were presented on the table. The Imperial Fist quickly took the stage as he had the table turn from previous extermination campaigns enacted by his chapter.
By the day’s end each and every Tech Priest within the fleet was given a comprehensive study on the coming battles. TalOS knew it would take them some time to fully process but the immediate consensus was the sad reality that indeed it made so much more sense to exterminate the Orks.
