Nemo shrugs. "Sure, why not? I only have some Scrip for now, though. That alright?" He pulls out a stack of Scrip and hands it to Aunt Jemima.
"As for Craig, I'll see what I can do to get him to the entrance tests - but later, after we're done. The rest's up to him though."
Craig pipes up. "T-that's fine with me. Are you fine with it, Rosa?"
"Yeah, seems all good for now. Anyways, I'm gonna borrow Craig a bit. Gonna take him adventuring." Craig's face brightened considerably.
"Well, alright, I trust you'll keep him safe. I would've taken him adventuring myself, but these bones aren't what they used to be." Aunt Jemima seems to be surprisingly lax about all this.
"In that case, wanna go on an adventure, Craig? We'll need your magic and your spirit stuff."
His cheeks greened hard. "Me, on an adventure with you?! Wowee!"
Nemo turns to you and Craig. "Then, let's be off. We still need to go to find Brother Valencio."
A short goodbye and a not-that-long walk later, the three of you find yourselves at the entrance of the Dawn Chapel, where Valencio is supposed to reside in. And yet, nobody came to greet you - which is weird. Valencio would usually come out to greet anyone, parishioner or not.
"Huh, it seems eerily quiet. Is he meditating or something?" You muse. Indeed, you haven't heard the bell ring as you approach.
"I can try and ask the spirits if you want?" Craig meekly asks.
"Perhaps we should knock on the door, first." Nemo pondered.
