"Ayy, thank you lad for hiring me. Lotta folks your age wouldn't give me a second look because I'm an old man."
<span class="mu-b">"No problem. We need people with high value skills."</span>
You've decided to take along the <span class="mu-i"><span class="mu-s">Hunter</span></span>, who real name is Young James, go figure. The mercenary, on the other hand, you don't bring along. You already have a big Snail, plus Richard and yourself as fighters, and with the Hunter's bow, that should be enough for now. Maybe if a bigger monster is found in the dungeon, you'll bring him along, but frankly you don't trust him. You wouldn't want a guy like him at your back.
"Grr... You haven't seen the last of me!"
Now with your party all set up over the winter, you finish your preparations with the blacksmith, who has finished repairing your armor and weapons. He's also finished a second coat-of-plates for Richard to wear.
<span class="mu-b">"Nice armor, eh Elly?"</span>
<span class="mu-g">"Well, when you and Richard, you <span class="mu-i">men</span>, are done posing up with each other- can we get the other important tools ready too?"</span>
<span class="mu-b">"O-Oh, yeah! I didn't forget..."</span>
Along with your repaired armor and weapons, you've also had several skilled tradesmen in the village produce new tools. You have an iron prybar, a bucket, sacks of cloth, strong rope, chalk, marbles, even parchment and ink for creating your first proper dungeon map. With your newfound wealth from the last delve, you're basically now tomb-robbing professionals, no longer just scavenging to get by!
