Sitting on the couch, in between your nephew and your sister, was a tall, slender figure with long white hair. She wore a white and red kimono, an oni mask with a similar color scheme, and had two katanas resting by her legs. They were all staring at a broken TV that was displaying nothing but static. Only the white woman’s head turned to greet you as you entered. And she did so far too slowly.
Her oni mask had an angry expression that resembled a snake preparing to strike. Given all the evidence, you thought it was safe to assume that this was “Snowsnake”.
As she rose from her seat, you stepped inside to get a better look at her hostages. Their eyes seemed glazed over, like they were in a trance of some sort. Is that something that vampires were able to do? If so, why hadn’t any of them tried it with you?
So many questions were swirling around in your head, but all of them died when you saw the woman draw her swords simultaneously and level them at both Vic and Pete’s throats.
<span class="mu-r">“Fucking coward…!”</span> you spat.
Snowsnake tilted her head to the left, and then violently jerked it to the right. Without warning, both of them got up and walked towards the back of the room. She wanted you to come inside. And it didn’t look like she was willing to give up her hostages so easily. You had no choice but to fight. And you had to do it without hitting either your sister or your nephew.
That meant that your electrified web bombs were out of the question. How would you get past those swords of hers? Your guns were the only advantage that you held in this matchup, and she’s trying to take that away by using your family as living shields.
What will you do?
