You catch something i her comments towards you. It sounded like she was attached to the ring by another... Someone. Another princess? An Unseelie? Maybe even another evil wizard? This makes you even more wary, but for now you'll have to push past that. You need to get out of this situation first.
You say you can't perish right now. There is no way you are leaving Tamako alone. She isn't even technically a month old yet.
"O-oh... Boo..." She says, playing with the tip of the knife. "I mean, we should probably bring Tamako too, now that you mention it. It's not like I can ever have kids. I knew plenty of spirits who would have wanted a more child-like body in their afterlives. Eh-heh..."
You honestly can't tell if that was a threat or an innocent offer, so you decide to buy some time. You say that you'd love to spend some time with her out in the mortal world, and you can't do that freely without being living, or at least appearing so.
"Are you asking me on a-a-a date? Ah-ha... Yes, I suppose we should have at least one of those. Hee-hee..." She says, a bit of daydreamy look in her eyes. a second later she continues. "Y-you know, once I get flesh, I'll be able to do... Things that a ghost and a human normally couldn't."
She breaks down into hysterical giggles again, hiding away her reddened face. Well, at least this is a less uncomfortable subject than harming your daughter. Once she calms down enough you comment that she seems okay with the idea of visiting the mortal world. You ask if you can get a day or two so you can procure a body.
"Yes! Of course! I probably won't be able to hang around you too much with that rat creature around, so maybe we can meet here again once you get the body? Or you know, more often. I-if you want. I don't have much else to do so I'll probably be around."
