Guilliman studied the face of his brother as he put forward his thoughts. Every word the Primarch of the War-Born said was as true as it could possibly be. Matters were though that he knew people would have different opinions than himself. It would be good to have an idea of where TalOS stood on such an issue. That was the Practical, at least.
He witnessed his brother’s eyes widen a little and a smile glow, “Animosity will come, but I too look forward to our meeting. In the end issues like those are temporal in nature. The facts of our lives can quickly supersede whatever rivalries there might be.”
“I see, I see.” Guilliman said as he processed the words spoken with the analysis of a trained psychiatric.
The first and foremost was that if there were issues TalOS saw them as fictional. What he cared about were results and facts, that fact being that he saw himself as a step above Fulgrim at this current moment. Could Guilliman call that Hubris? The records show that such Hubris is warranted especially since Fulgrim had no sort of recourse against TalOS.
That was the fact the child of Macragge realized was the matter. A Practical that TalOS has also realized. Being of the Mechanicum and not out on Crusade TalOS was divorce from all happenings. That included things such as requesting others for support or being circumstance forcing them to be closer. If TalOS was to go to war it would be his choice alone.
And if word going around was right, then he had chosen Rogal Dorn to be his partner in war.
“I see you two are having a good time.” Another voice came from the far end of the workshop which snapped Guilliman out of his thoughts. It was far more robotic than TalOS, and the figure that came out would match the voice.
The one to approach was a Tech Priest with a platter of cooked Corpse Starch on a plate. She was female in a basic form but adopted a series of machines to it. One of these machines placed a pair of cast iron plates before the Primarchs and the platter was lowered before them with a gentleness that fit a mother.
“I thank you, madam.” Guilliman told the Priest with a small nod which mimicked a bow, “It is my honor to be served by someone who raised my brother. May I know your name?”
“I am Magos E11IE, partner to C4R in his Teleportation exploits.” She informed the Primarch with a small cheer, “It is always a good time to have one of TalOS’s brothers here. Even that rude one.”
“It always is.” TalOS told his mother with a heartful smile upon his face.
