"Bennett god damn Huxley. Look, I respect my ETF agents. I know they deal with a lot worse shit than us Cleaners. But all he did when he came into my office was try hitting on Charlotte before jabbering about rabbits or something." Huh, Huxley? That was one of the rich families that TV MAN told you about.
Gregory raises an eyebrow, "A Huxley? As an agent?" <<span class="mu-b">"I know they're a violent type but that seems beneath them."</span>>
Maruyama keeps rambling without responding to Gregory, "He was nothing compared to this T-Corp representative. Izanata something." He quickly slams down two shots of whiskey in a row. "She kept asking me to get rid of some shitty bar somewhere. UMG something. Told her no and ever since then, my train keeps running late by a solid four minutes and I know it has something to do with her."
Kiara snorts, "Yeah. Sounds like T-Corp."
"And uh...fuck, what was his name?" He snaps his fingers. "Vincent Cruz? Dude's a prick when he tried joining our group. Didn't help nothing that he was associated with some crime lord named Ashton? I told him to fuck off. Supposedly he had some other Office lined up, <span class="mu-b">the 521 Association</span> or something. Some sort of assassination Office."
Your body shivers upon hearing the name "Ashton". You recall hearing that name in a file back in that old gangboss' lair. Something about easily killing some trained killers. If he's working for an assassination office...hm. Doesn't bode well.
"That's all I got." Maruyama returns to taking shots of whiskey for now. You turn your attention over to Kiara, leaning over to whisper to her while Gregory and Maruyama chatter to each other. She perks up and flashes a smile at you, "Oh?"
[PERSON OF INTEREST] "Between us two SEEKERS, I have a question. What do you know about men wearing silver?"
That smile instantly vanishes. Her posture quickly tenses up. "Between you and me, I can't say much. Both because I don't know much and I feel unsafe talking about it in public." She scribbles a phone number down and hands it to you. "Call this later. It'll seem like it goes to voicemail at first but just wait a few minutes."
You nod your head. You can understand her hesitation here.
>MYSTERIOUS NUMBER ADDED! (You may call this as a FREE ACTION at any time.)
You lean away from her. "Well, what about gossip then? I bet that's probably more up your alley." This gets her to unwind a little bit. She nods her head with a weak smile.
"Trying to think on what might actually be interesting to you." She takes a swig out of the rubbing alcohol she was given. Can she even taste it...? Doesn't seem like it given her non-reaction. "Ah! So, does L-Company ring a bell to you?"
[SEEKER OF THE CITY] All you really know is that they sell a LOT of candles.
"Not particularly? Why?"
"Apparently there's starting to push into P-Company's domain when it comes to anomaly containment and, to be blunt about it, P-Corp is <span class="mu-r">fucking pissed.</span>"
