Lucian had thrown himself onto the edge of a wall just encase these monsters had enough of a mind to try and flank him again. Now that there was only one of them though such a position gave Lucian regret as one of the fists came to slam into him. There was no space for him to roll out of the way and he could only brace for impact.
The fist slammed into his brace and shook Lucian to his core. Such a strike was far more than even the Ork Warboss who he fought before. The monster did not betray the nature it showed as Lucian had to give a mighty growl of pain just to withstand the impact.
He did not taste blood through and while his body screamed Lucian did not fall. The Black Knight against all odds did not even lost his footing as this creature should have easily thrown him into the wall with the ease of a peasant against a chicken. Instead Lucian brought his weapon forward and rebounded the attack back towards the Ogre with a push of flaming muscles and will.
The creature took a step back from the impact and Lucian quickly brought his weapon forward for a deep cut against its chest. Lucian could see the red muscles trying to flex within the chest as the monster did not care for the wound that was inflicted upon it. The Rat Ogre simple roared forward and gave another brawler’s cuff in the direction of Lucian.
As before the KNight had to take it, this one knocking him from the side and successfully pushing him into the nearby wall. Yet Lucian, who had been fearing the strikes of these creatures, had opted to strike the offending limb instead of doing a defence of it. He trusted his own body and armor, which was the truest bet he could make. The scythe which was now imbedded in the fist of the Ogre was ripped out and had completely shredded the monster’s forearm.
In the end the monster was still a living creature, falling over as it lost its strength.
Looking up Lucian to see that the horde of Mutans were upon him. He did not hesitate a moment and with three mighty slashes of the scythe ended the lives of a dozen of them before advancing upon their corpses out of the chamber that he found himself in. Each step harassed by these abominations that were coming out of their jars.
