Dirdiglio hears how the other criminals who escaped the prison now rove around as a band of painted, striped, bereted weirdos. His gang of Spanish rebels decide they're going to dress up as mimes and dump all the chests of gold off of the occupying Roman ships, into the harbors of the Iberian Peninsula, using the gesture to declare their currency worthless in this land.

Nadian's cryptic letter to Emperor Kiber II demanding the funding and creation of the Ordo Ex Machina is intercepted by the nefarious Bufo Ranicus, a wealthy senator as well as Kiber's right hand man and closest friend; the messenger is put down like a rat. Bufo makes several revisions, and when the letter reaches the Emperor, it is filled with nonsensical lies twisting and mocking your prophecies, and suggestions that Nadian intends to usurp Kiber in a military coup. (You get -2 to all rolls targeting Emperor Kiber II for the duration of the Event!)
Nadian's journey to the cave has enhanced his abilities, as well as the men in his century. When they march back, they stand at the edge of the camp, looking upon their brothers. The day of the attack draws near. Exalted gears spin in the chosen one's heads.
