>>5137660>DEATH>>5121888(QM: this occurs and interrupts you, before you can fire the gun)
The World holds its breath around you. All is still. It is as if the Endless Night and the Great Dark Sky will surround you, and devour you forever.
The Cleaner, The Eyeless Elder who somehow sees through only one remaining scarred Eye, is studying you. He looks very ordinary, but he is very clean. He has the appearance of any manual labourer, a driver, an electrician or construction worker or an attendant. Yet his face appears twisted and cruel.
Finally, The Cleaner / The Eyeless Elder says -
In the Bright World once, there was a man who lived for 31 years. Every year, he was given a piece of silver. No matter what he did, how he chose, what he believed - he received the silver. He could do, say, or even think anything.
But at the end of the 30 years, when he had 30 pieces of silver, everything was taken away. Imagine the loss, the shock, the betrayal. It killed him.
In the Dark World, there was another. This woman suffered. No matter what she did, they took things from her. Every year she bled red, every year she was tormented and confronted with loss and despair. No matter how she tried, and no matter what she did. And in the end, she was made whole again.
Which life would you choose?
>1/The Betrayer (without hesitating or justifying it)>2/The Betrayer, because at least he lived and enjoyed himself for 30 years. The woman suffered in agony. Her redemption afterwards did not matter, as the world had ended afterwards.>3/The Red Dancer / The Red Lord>4/Both paths are the same. All paths belong to the Pathless Labyrinth.>5/The Empty Path. You should bring nothing into this world, and take nothing from it.>6/Shoot this man in the head, and take his gun. (Any weapon will work for this. If you use Yargai's revolver, roll 1d6. It is currently locked to III: hit on 1,2,3,4,5. Do not miss.)
