you feel it in your BONES don't you, softsoul? The sheer NEED for VIOLENCE.[/i:lit]
On a 3d6, states above 2 are possible to hit with a roll. This means they enter "perception", and start altering things a little.
You roll against Focus, or you find yourself being a little more... Aggressive, than perhaps intended. Self Control starts suffering. So it goes.
( Every state above 3 is -1 to relevant rolls. So 3 aggression requires rolling, and 4 aggression rolls Focus at -1. So on, so on )
But given your high Focus and your stern control, you can also ride the red wave. Landing a blow that is *guaranteed* to do at least 4 damage to someone's Guard when all is said or done (or their body, at that) is monstrous levels of sheer violence. It causes mere mortals to break before you. And how cares that this also depletes your own Guard in the doing? If your *defences* and *Style* is competent enough, you can plant your feet and take on the Icon-damned, Void-touched world.
To hurt you, they need to lay hands ON you. So why not just . . . never ever give them the *chance*, hardhands?
But now that you've GONE ABOVE AND BEYOND, you also realize...
