>>5827500However, as the Super Saiyan looks at you shocked, his goons flying away, one of the people who'd come with him remains standing there, watching. Observing you both as Caouli goes in to attack you again.
“Tch! Try THIS!” he roars, planting his feet and kicking off at you with a double flying kick to the face. Which you easily block, raising your right hand and stopping his kicks with your thumb and pinkie finger.
“Is this really the extent of your power?” you ask him, trying to see if he's worth training or not. If he doesn't give up, he might be worth training, even if his power's lacking. He'll need an attitude adjustment, but Goar and the others would certainly see to that if your dad didn't do it himself.
“No, no this can't be happening!” he says, landing back on the ground and looking at his hands, which are trembling. “What the hell ARE you?”
“I am a being forged from the fusion of Tatsu and Tomi. Tomitsu.” you reply, crossing your arms. “And you're wasting my time. If this is all you've got, you might as well give up now.”
“No, no this can't be. I finally became a Super Saiyan, just for this?” he says, sinking to his knees. The golden glow around him fades as the man's will just breaks, defeated. Seems he wasn't training material after all. “Was it really all for nothing?”
“You'd better take your friend there and go.” you say to the one who'd been standing there quietly the entire time. But he doesn't go, instead actually starts walking towards you. He steps past Caouli as the man's clearly given up, walking right to you.
“If this is the kind of power you can get through Karn's training, there's no way I'm leaving now.” he says, a good, determined look in his eye. “Train me.”
“I'll make you the same deal I made him.” you reply, gesturing over to the crisis-having Super Saiyan. “Impress me, and I'll consider it.”
“Bring it on.” he replies, taking his fighting stance. He doesn't transform into a Super Saiyan, or even the false version, in fact he doesn't power up at all. But you can tell from the look in his eyes, that look of hunger, that DESIRE to be better that he might have what it takes. However, there's only one way to truly find out. “I won't lose.”
“Do your best.” you reply, again not taking your fighting stance. He observes your casual stance, takes a deep, calming breath to focus, then explodes off the ground into a right turning kick aimed at your head. You don't bother blocking the hit, barely feeling the attack as the man was weaker than the Super Saiyan even before that man transformed.
“Tch!” he seethes through clenched teeth, twisting into a left front kick planted on your face, back flipping and landing on his feet only to spring into a left uppercut. His fist slams into your chin at his full power, barely knocking your head backwards a degree or two before your neck muscles stop it.
