“So this is tradition to you? Break bread in this workshop?” Guilliman pressed forward with genuine interest.
“It is. Only Ferrus Manus was one who did not get this chance, and that was because he wished to be out in the galaxy as soon as he was allowed.” TalOS answered Guilliman with a hint of honor, “I do not know if you had the chance to meet him, strong headed but a good man.”
“I have not and will not for a while. I understand that he is leading a campaign in the south eastern fringes. I know we will meet when the War Council Convenes.” Guilliman said as he thought about the stories about the brother with steel arms.
“It is a weird way to speak of a family reunion.” His brother pointed out with what Guilliman realized was a bit of camp banter, “A War Council to be the place we all meet for the first time together. Our Creator either knows the irony, ignores it, or knows his creations too well.”
Guilliman thought about the implications that were presented by TalOS. The Theory was sound as unlike a family gathering, a military affair like this one did not need everyone to be in agreement. If it was a family reunion then it would be hard to convince everyone to join when animosity is already forming between each of them.
That, and at least one of their brothers will not go if it's for something as ‘petty’ as a reunion.
“I am sure it is all those reasons and more.” Guilliman said, choosing to ignore for the moment the specific words that TalOS used to describe their Father, “I look forward to seeing us all together. Let it be if any of us had quarrels before or formed friendships, it will be good to meet everyone at once.”
>It will be good to meet each other in a larger setting.
>Keep the opinion neutral
>Animosity is not something that can be easily ignored.
