The Imperium's game is taxation from its vast territories, our should be a cultivation of manufacture. This is best accomplished by accepting from the nobility, serfs and commoners as substitute payment for thrones, who through working our factories as servitors will increase our production values far better than any short term gain from wealth taxation by itself. By now there is a huge demand for the Russ Tank, the Tartarus Frigate, Lucius Pattern Titans, and other superior Federal products, so increasing our factory output will result in greater profits. A throne will only go so far, but a man will work his entire life (and post servitor life). This is of course, not different from the Imperial Tithe system whereby planets can pay both in currency and in fresh bodies for recruitment.
