The meal was finished and Guilliman watched as a Servitor came over to take the dishes. He felt a small moment of pain seeing a man’s contorted face looking back at him with no expression.
“You are not the first brother to look at a servitor like that.” TalOS announced with a clear acknowledgement of Guilliman’s mental state, “That is something you and Rogal both share in common.”
Seeing as his jig was up the Warborn’s Primarch gave a small shrug, “It is hard to look at someone as… human and not as human as this fellow. I do understand that he deserves this fate?”
“And he is redeeming himself in the eyes of the Machine God.” TalOS answered his brother with confidence, “Such is the punishment for the murder of your fellow man.”
Guilliman gave a solemn nod to those words, “He knew what his chances were and failed at it. Fool.” Those were just enough words for someone who would so willingly slaughter their fellow man without care.
Seeing as a chance came Guilliman took in a heavy breath and spoke his mind, “TalOS, I am sure you already suspect that I have come here as Ruler of Macragge. I have a propsition for your Federation.”
“You have my attention.” Answered his fellow Primarch with the pride and force of a venerable leader.
“I come to you looking for a trade deal.” Guilliman decided that being forthright about his desires were going to be the best way to go about this, “While I have a Legion, I have millions of men whose equipment are below imperial standard. If I am to expand I am in need of getting military goods for them, such as lasguns and tanks.”
“That could be ordered. But what in return do you ask for?” TalOS asked his brother.
“Firstly, you do not need to supply the Thirteenth Legion with Auxilia, with the expected equipment to be received shall be less than standard. I pledge to you any technology that is found to be shared between us. Lastly, an open trade agreement between the Federation and my Fiefdom.” Guilliman told TalOS with the confidence of a leader, “I understand that this Forge World and the Federation in general have few amenities for the people. I can give you those.”
