I have intense performance anxiety.

The reason I still haven't run a (GOOD) fantasy quest is because after hyping it up so much, I strongly feel like I couldn't capture the sense of the fantastic and depth of lore/setting richness so crucial for a fantasy setting to feel real and lived in. This could even be karmic justice for starting the GOOD fantasy quest meme, as now I am scared I can't actually pull it off myself.

I just can't handle criticism, sorry. I can't go back and change the earlier threads and unfuck it either. With everyone constantly pining for the old Monke Quest SOVL in every single thread and sidequest it's been really rough making new threads under the pressure, which is why I took the "year off". I'm trying to make it better as we go along now though. Thanks for sticking with it.

Since people are getting confused on this; the "Rewards of Obedience" is the name of the speech, in which lessening government regulations on speech/art/censorship/reeducation is the "reward" for everyone being more "obedient" in the past generation, thus leading to more cultural growth.
