You drew back your cup as you drank warm and delicious tea, setting it on the table gently. It sure helped out a lot to have a beverage after today. You tapped your now, and again, bandaged hand that Rumia bit on the table before you.
"...and after that, I arrived at the Village down the road. We ran into a Youkai that wanted to eat me, and now we're here at long last. And I'm all worn out. Thanks for the tea, by the way."
The Shrine Maiden nodded. You sat quietly now watching the whispers unfold around the table. Reisen was next to you, sipping her tea calmly. Across from you sat the Miko of the Hakurei Shrine. <span class="mu-s">Hakurei Reimu</span>, as she introduced herself. And accompanying her was a magician that dressed much to the part of a classic Witch, self-proclaimed best friend of the Miko, an ordinary girl introducing herself as <span class="mu-s">Kirisame Marisa</span>. And there was another, a young lady with a much more mature appearance, she had yet to introduce herself, she merely sat there behind the two pondering your story partaking of the tea. She was quite mysteriously, you even think you saw her smile and wave lightly when you looked over, to which you just waved back before focusing your attention back to the Miko.
<span class="mu-i">"Can I see this mark you claim was laid on your arm by a god closely?"</span>
You obliged Reimu, rolling your sleeve up a little higher as you presented your Big Dipper on the table before the priestess and the magician. They both gave it an intense stare, and Reimu reached forward, tapping it on your arm with her finger, lighting the mark up.
<span class="mu-i">"I'm not sure I like the looks of this one... A god kidnapping a human from the Outside and bringing him here without tellin' him? It sure does stink!"</span> Marisa commented.
<span class="mu-i">"Hm. Yes, I think I believe I know a little about what you're dealing with here."</span>
"Mind elaborating?"
<span class="mu-i">"This mark on you is a complex magical seal, directly linked to your free will and conscious. A Mark of Secrecy, if you will, no doubt created by the very same Secret God that we found was responsible once for an Incident that threw the seasons themselves out of alignment. Although, I admit, I sort of forgot her name myself since then, I remember what she was like well. She is very powerful, and even I had trouble defeating her."</span>
"Great," You remarked, rubbing the back of your head; "-so what's it mean anyway when you say the mark is tied my, eh... free will and conscious?"
