Yeah I've always been quite partial to the Hazaar as well, being a more "out there" alien species to try and make a culture around.
However in the end, we all knew they were less distinct in our trifecta of other Hegemonic races. Also given the secret? undertone of alien species being similar to ones that evolved in different areas of the galaxy Hazaar were farther away and less similar to the Jaxtians as the Vetuckers and Swall are.
