The parts were also taken from an alpha-type beast that was powered by a corrupted-or-possibly being-cleansed-by-nature’s-wrath apocalypse. I suppose we could buy stunners from a store, but I doubt they'd be as effective as what I'm proposing here. Did I mention they're completely free?
It also doesn't have to be a wand; anything that can be quickly drawn and fired in a matter of seconds will suffice. It doesn't have to be at point-blank range, either. To beat those here, you'll have to really spend some motes in the store, which I personally don't recommend.
