"Alright, comr-" You stop yourself. Don't be weird about it, do they even know about Zeta? There might be multiple Zetas, you doubt they're all unique. "Alright, ETF. We have several items to help with your mission. Please return the glasses in intact condition, at least."
Tau slides the 5-D glasses (which look like regular 3-D glasses) on. She looks at the other eight agents. "Wow! I didn't know you wore foundation, Alp-" "SHUT UP SHUT UP SHUT UP"
"Well, as you can see, those glasses improve better perception and limited mental protection. The cookies, don't eat them right now. They offer random effects on the field. Save them."
"Awww." Gamma pouts, he was clearly ready to crack open a cookie. Epsilon quickly slaps the cookie away before he can do anything stupid.
"Noted." Chi watches the tomfuckery of his fellow agents with a mild yet all consuming annoyance. "Are there any further other instructions?”
"Right. West is a lucky direction, as deemed from a...source. Try to go more west than east. Also, I'll send a line you need to read if you find any telephone booths." You send a copy of the extract Fortune spat out.
The ETF agents look at the file. About over half of them instantly grimace when they recognize the writing style, except for Alpha. Alpha's pretty happy about this. "R-right, sir." Beta whistles a tune to try distracting himself.
>Try to check up on that cat, if it proves too hard to find without CORA... it is what it is, move on with your day.
Turns out, they already got a pretty hefty distraction coming around. Before anyone can even move, the mangy stray that has been hiding in your facility leaps onto Sigma's back. It glares at the others after it finds a new target to attach to.
You're not sure WHY you bought this cat. It doesn't do anything. It isn't sapient. It's just a random fucking cat. Well, at least it is Sigma's problem now.
She grimaces the moment she sees it. "Oh. I've heard stories of this. Bad luck." Hm? It's not black, so you're not sure what's so unlucky about it. "Someone. Remove it from me, right now." Alpha and Rho move in to get the weird cat off of her.
"Regardless." You cough. "All of you are being sent. It is the best option to keep any potential injuries on the job limited. Take what is necessary. We have...another team for that other thing I want checked on."
"Understood. Enough talk, work must be done." Chi snaps his fingers at the other ETFs, holding a riot club in his other hand. "Let's leave. Pronto."
"Order understood." Epsilon bluntly replies. "This place is not comfortable for me. Field, better." The others quickly follow after the two, leaving behind only Delta. Good, because you rather talk to him alone about this next thing.
>All of your ETF agents will be gone next shift.
